As recovering addicts and motorcycle riders, several Memorial Hermann Prevention and Recovery Center (PaRC) staff and alumni joined forces to create a ride that would celebrate recovery, acknowledge the fun people have in recovery, raise donations for several nonprofit male and female recovery shelters in the community, as well as step out of the shadows of the shame of addiction. Since September is National Alcohol and Drug Addiction and Recovery Month we decided that September would be the perfect time for a ride.
